CSCG ProgramTopic Is Communicating in Science

Dr. Rebecca Roberts, Associate Professor of Biology, presents a program from The Center for Science and Common Good. “Who Is My Audience Now? Communicating About an Endocrine Disruptor”  will be held 7 p.m., Monday, Oct. 20  in the Lenfest Theater, The Kaleidoscope Performing Arts Center. 

Rebecca Roberts is Associate Professor in the Department of Biology and Co- Coordinator of the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Program at Ursinus College, where she studies the effect of hormonal regulation of the immune system, with a focus on the roles of estrogen and bisphenol A in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. Bisphenol A is found in many widely used products. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard
Medical School.

The Center for Science and the Common Good is supported by a grant from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
